Step-by-Step Application Guide

1. Clear the Firearm

• Point the firearm in a safe direction

• Remove the magazine (if fitted)

• Lock the action open

• Visually and physically inspect the chamber

• Confirm the firearm is unloaded

• Check it again.

2. Insert the VizLock™ Cable Tie

• Feed the pointed end of the VizLock™ cable tie through the open action

• Ensure the cable passes clearly through the chamber or ejection port

• The cable must obstruct the action so the firearm cannot be closed or fired

3. Secure the Tie

• Pull the cable through the locking head

• Tighten until secure but do not overtighten

• Confirm the action cannot close with the VizLock™ fitted

4. Visual Confirmation

• Ensure the high-visibility orange tie is clearly visible

• The firearm should now be instantly identifiable as cleared and secured

5. Storage or Handling
